Pastor Apollo Quiboloy Detained in Hawaii After Gun Parts, Piles of Cash Found on Private Jet

World-renowned church leader Pastor Apollo Quiboloy of the Philippine mega church Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KJC) was detained for a day on Febrruary 13, 2018 after Customs and Border Enforcement agents in Hawaii found $350,000 in cash and gun parts to assemble military-style rifles.

Aside from Pastor Apollo Quiboloy, six other people were arrested including Felina Salinas, 47 of Makakilo, Hawaii, the only U.S. citizen on the private plane owned by Quiboloy. Salinas claimed that the suitcase with the cash was hers, the cash in $100 bills were neatly stuffed inside socks in a suitcase.

According to the court documents, the Federal Agents who obard the Cessna Citation Sovereign, the private jet of Pastor Quiboloy, they found tens of thousands of dollars in cash - all in $100 bills. Aside from the cash also found on the plane, parts to assemble military-style rifles, according to sources.

Pastor Apollo Quiboloy dubbed himself as the "appointed son of God," and he is the head pastor of the worldwide mega church Kingdom of Jesus Christ, or KJC, based in Davao City which claims to have six million followers worldwide.

The US Federal Law requires that anyone taking more than $10,000 out of the country, should declared it but Salinas declared only $40,000 of the $350,000 found by authorities. Felina Salinas was charged with attempted bulk cash smuggling, but she was later released on $25,000 bond. The next court appearance of Salinas is set for February 27, 2018.

Pastor Apollo Quiboloy was detained by authorities for a day and later left on a commercial flight for the Philippines. He was reportedly in Hawaii for a concert. The Federal government of the U.S. are in the process of seizing the private plane of Quiboloy, worth at least $15 million, which is still in Honolulu, Hawaii.
